How do I migrate my data to Office 365?

How do I get Office 365? 

Sign onto your account at apps.centurylink.com/login.  Navigate to the Microsoft Office 365 page and select the plans and quantities that you need.  CenturyLink is currently offering a “First Month Free” promotion to new Office 365 customers.  See website for restrictions.  Use offer code 1MONTHFREEAPPS in your shopping cart.

 

Can I get help?

CenturyLink offers help in a couple of ways.  You can browse the Knowledge Base or talk to someone live. 

For migrations from Secure Online Backup to Office 365, you can take advantage of our onboarding service.  Just log in, navigate to Fast Forward Onboarding under Customer Support and place an order for Do-It-All-For-Me email migration.  The cost is normally a one-time charge of $40/email- user, billed on your next CenturyLink invoice.   To waive the fee, please use offer code: SOBMIGRATION2019 when purchasing Do-It-All-For-Me onboarding.

How long will CenturyLink store my data once the service is End of Life?

CenturyLink will continue to store your data as long as you have an active, paid subscription.   Once we reach the End of Life, your subscription will be removed and you can expect all stored data to be destroyed.  

 

I have data stored that is no longer on my PC.  How do I recover that?

When you first activated Secure Online Backup, you were sent an encryption key via email.   You will need this encryption key to recover data not currently stored on your local machine. 

 

I lost my encryption key.  Can it be resent?

Encryption keys cannot be resent.  Encryption keys are unique and not stored at CenturyLink.
