Phase 1: Interview and Planning

We’ll work with you to determine how many mailboxes you need, how much storage per mailbox is necessary, how you want mobile access to be configured and other important decisions for your new email environment.
How long will this take?
Our Cloud Support Team will review your information with you, establish a migration plan and timeline, and identify potential risks. We’ll get your sign-off on the plan and make sure we’re meeting your expectations.
Phase 2: Execution and Migration
After gathering all of the necessary information, our Cloud Support Team will start the migration process.
Set up and validate your Hosted Exchange account
We’ll get your Hosted Exchange account set up, configured and ready to begin the migration process.
Provision your Hosted Exchange account
Next, we’ll get into the details by setting up your user accounts and mailboxes while configuring your authentication, access, security settings and other parameters according to your requirements.
Update your MX Records
Next, we’ll change your mail exchanger (MX) record so that the information will propagate to DNS servers across the Internet to begin redirecting email to its new location.
Migrate your information
We’ll help you import all messages, contacts, calendars, folders, task lists and other data types wherever possible.
We will help you verify that all data was successfully migrated.
Phase 3: Configuration and Wrap-up
Our Cloud Support Team will help you go through a final verification of migrated data and complete all account configurations and cutover, as well as provide guidance on mobile device support.
Cutover and Auto-discover
We will set up Autodiscover record for you at the domain registrar, which enables Hosted Exchange to optimize the user experience based on device, and we’ll make sure that your DNS is pointed correctly to its new home.
We’ll help you verify that individual users have properly configured email accounts, and we’ll assist with downloading, installing and configuring the Outlook 2010 client (plus applicable mobile device access).
With a final sweep of your old email accounts, we will capture any remaining email data and complete the migration. We will confirm that this pass is completed and verified.
Configure Add-On Solutions
